We had an amazing stay at Forget Me Not Holiday Cottage. The cottage is beautifully renovated with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare our meals. The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet estate with lovely walking routes and breathtaking scenery. We especially enjoyed the Ness Glen walk. The peace and quiet, along with the sound of nature, provided a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Our furry friend also had a great time exploring. we highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful getaway.
The only minor drawbacks were the creaky and uncomfortable bed and the presence of midges when the windows were open. However, these were small inconveniences that didn't detract from our overall enjoyment of the cottage.

The cottage offered a beautiful setting with a charming thatched roof and warm Aga, creating a cozy atmosphere. The amenities were well-equipped and the cottage has been renovated beautifully. Additionally, the location was ideal, situated near a small stream and offering a rural estate with attractions such as a waterfall and Loch Doon.
There were a few drawbacks during our stay. The WiFi was not working, and although the management tried to address the issue, it could only be resolved towards the end of our five-night stay.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location is just wow, with a lovely cottage nestled by a small stream in a peaceful estate surrounded by nature. The rural setting is perfect for nature lovers, with attractions like a breathtaking waterfall and stunning Loch Doon nearby. Although it took us a little bit of effort to find the waterfall, it was well worth it. The tranquility of the estate is unmatched, with only the soothing sounds of nature to be heard. The cottage itself is super cozy and comfortable, with a fantastic kitchen that is fully equipped. We loved having a big utility room with a washing machine and dryer, making it convenient for longer stays. And the best part? No midgets during our stay, thank goodness! Even our dog had a blast and enjoyed the peace and quiet, not to mention the sight of adorable bats. The house has been beautifully renovated, with a charming thatched roof and an Aga that keeps it warm and welcoming. The amenities were top-notch, and it's clear that a lot of thought and effort have been put into making this place perfect. Daniel, our host, was amazing, and Mark was super helpful. We've already rebooked because we loved it so much! Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing location in a rural estate with beautiful attractions like waterfalls and Loch Doon. The cottage by the stream was lovely and peaceful, surrounded by nature sounds. Well-equipped kitchen and a spacious utility room with convenient laundry facilities. No pesky midges during our stay!
Few minor hiccups - faulty shower door in the downstairs bathroom and no extraction fans in both bathrooms. The master bedroom lacked a dressing table and drawers, but had a cupboard and small chests with lamps.
